IS THE BIKE INSURED AGAINST THEFT?

The rental bikes are not insured against theft. Insurance Companies do not offer this option for commercially used Bikes.

What happen if my bike gets stolen?

If you get the bike stolen you will need to pay for it. The customer is responsible for the bike that they hire.  If the bike is stolen, the customer is responsible for the wholesale price of the bike.

First thing you should do is report the theft to the police. You should indicate that is a rental bike from Bicicletas Quintana. You should provide us with a copy of the police report.

Our recommendation is that you get a travel insurance in your country and double check with them if they cover this case.

IS THERE A BIKE DELIVERY AND PICK-UP SERVICE TO AND FROM A HOTEL?

We do not deliver our rental bikes to the hotels and accommodations.

Please collect your bike in our bike Rental where we can provide the best possible service in adjusting and fitting the bikes.

You also need to complete the paperwork and settle the payment in the shop before collecting your bike.

CAN I PICK UP MY BIKE THE NIGHT BEFORE MY RESERVATION DATE?

All bike rentals start on the morning of the first rental day and you need to return the bike before closing time on the last rental day. A collection the evening before is not possible for logistical reasons. We do not know when the bike will be returned by the previous client.

What time can I collect and return the bike?

Pickup time bike 9:30 until 12:30 and 15:00 until 17:30

The bicycle must be returned on the date indicated, until 18:00 hrs (6:00 p.m) at the latest.(if it is returned after this time a charge will be applied)

(Open every day in March, April, May, September and October in our rental bike)

Do you have roadside assistance?

If you have contracted the SOS insurance, we will come to your location in case of a breakdown or an incident. We will not come for fatigue or a flat tire.

Can I return my bike earlier or hang on for another day?

It's possible to return your bike earlier. However during the cyclist season, we cannot refund money.

If you would like to extend your bike, this is of course possible depending on availability.

When will we cancel a reservation?

No - Show: The company may automatically cancel your reservation if you do not show up within the specified time.

Future penalties:

  • Repeating a no-show could affect future reservation
  • Reassignment of the bike: The company may make it available to other customers if you do not show up on time, this losing your reservation.

To avoid these situations, it is recommended that you contact us as soon as you know you won't be able to show up

EMERGENCY NUMBER?

112 is the emergency number valid throughout the EU

This emergency number can be called free of charge from any landline or mobile phone in the EU. It will take you directly to the emergency services - ambulance, police, fire brigade.

The ambulances will take patients to one of the nearest public hospitals.

An identification document (ID/personal identity card or passport) and health insurance card must be carried at all times.

Do you provide a saddle bag and pump with the bike hire?

We provide a saddle bag, with inner tube, tyre levers and a pump. The bike will have bottle cages fitted and we sell cycling water bottles. Free cleaning and maintenance.

DO YOU ALSO RENT CYCLING SHOES?

We do not rent shoes for hygienic reasons. We sell Cycling shoes and clothing.

Do you offer guided tours?

No. Mallorca is a very well- prepared destination for Cycling tourism.
